Beach
There is a large man made golden beach ideal to relax with or without the children, at the bars or restaurants on the beach, where the children can play or why not buy some peanuts at the bar so the children can feed the chipmunks on the beach. There is a breakwater, making it safe for young children and weak swimmers.
The Town and Harbour
Caleta de Fuste sometimes known as El Castillo de Fuste, the ‘Castillo’ (Castle) is an 18th Century watchtower near the Harbour. There is also a small marina and alighthouse. The harbour is about 5 to 10 minutes away from the apartment. The harbour is home to many yachts, and boats which provide local trips.
Watersports
Diving, jet skis hire and windsurfing tuition are available at the water centre on the beach. Mini Golf
There is a mini golf course along the sea front going towards the harbour that is very good.
Caleta Market
There is a market on Saturdays just a short walk away where everyone heads for a spot of shopping and also a bite to eat at the café and a drink at the bar while soaking up the sun.
Shops
There are local shops within 5 mins walking distance. Perfume, cigarettes, booze, and presents to bring back home. Supermarket across the road from apartment where you can get all you need. There is a large mall just a taxi ride away which will set you back around 12 Euros where there are shops till you drop which is a good day out to spend your money.
Restaurants
There are all types of restaurants where all families are welcome. Chinese, Steakhouse, Italian, Mexican and many more to choose from like the lighthouse restaurant situated on the harbour, open till late sports bar and karaoke bar if you fancy your luck singing.
Rent a car at very good prices or get a taxi.
Atlantic shopping mall
Visit the Atlantic shopping mall where there is a multi screen cinema, bowling, bars and restaurants.
18 Hole Golf Course
There is an excellent golf course which opened in 2004 just 10 mins away. Swaying palm trees it’s a par 71 round extending 6 mild descent from the clubhouse hotel. A free bus service is available to and from the town centre all within 5 mins away and is available every 30 mins.
